A locked store is an area, where due to practical reasons of access, or the nature of the material stored, only library staff can access.

The Library has the following locked stores:

Harold Cohen Library

  • Closed Access Store North (journals with class numbers QH301 NEW to R11)
  • Closed Access Store South (Engineering journals)

Sydney Jones Library

Grove Wing Basement Store 3 (Povey X Collection; microforms; Education Collection)

Brunswick Library Store (off-site)

Holds the following:

  • Theses
  • Books and journals formerly held in Sydney Jones Library Abercromby Store 1
  • Books and journals formerly held on the Harold Cohen Library Lower Ground Floor

Materials listed on the catalogue with a locked store location can be requested at the Helpdesk and retrieved by Library staff.

Items that are held at the Brunswick Library Store can be requested online.

For further help or information contact the Helpdesk.
