As well as printing, the Multi-Functional Devices (MFDs) in the library can photocopy and scan.

Photocopying is available to all library users and is chargeable. Staff members or Research Postgraduates however, do not have to pay upfront for photocopying or printing (charges are incurred by your School or Department who will arrange any recharges if necessary).

If you are not a student or staff member of the University you have to purchase a card from the HelpDesk in advance (£1) and load credit onto it to cover photocopying costs.

For details of paying for photocopying charges see the Computing Services webpages.

For guidance on how to photocopy see these basic instructions (also available by the machines in the Library). If you need further assistance please contact a member of staff on either the Library or Computing Services HelpDesks.

For information on how much you can copy please see our copyright guide.
