EndNote is the full reference management package, which is available for installation on campus on any Managed Windows Service PC. To install it go to Start > Install University Applications > Bibliographic. EndNote can also be accessed off campus via Apps Anywhere.
EndNote Online is the 'lighter' online version. It has been improved from the earlier version called EndNote Web and it is now possible to work with the same EndNote library (only one library!) in both EndNote and EndNote Online. A disadvantage with EndNote Online is that it doesn't have the full Vancouver style used by Medicine.
We recommend that on-campus users at University of Liverpool use EndNote rather than EndNote Online.
There is more information about both versions of EndNote on the Referencing guide.
