Before you can use the electronic Library, you will need to activate your UoL (MWS) login - this is your University of Liverpool network account to log into University Web pages, email and Library resources.

If you were invited to active your (MWS) login following enrolment, but have not yet done so, you should be able to do so at http://register.liv.ac.uk (then see the link 'Activate your account'), you will need your University ID and will need to supply your full name and date of birth (exactly as supplied when you enrolled on your programme), you can ask IT Service Desk to confirm these details using the 24/7 IT support line +44 (0)151 794 4567.

You can only activate the UoL (MWS) account once. You are not issued the login credentials by email, please note these when you activate the login (e.g. when you set your UoL/MWS password). Also see our activation guideline.

Following activation, if you have difficulties using your UoL (MWS) login, you may need to contact the University of Liverpool IT Service Desk (24/7 line: +44 0151 7944567) to confirm your credentials/ request a new password. You can speak to the IT Service Desk for guidance on using the activation page at any time, or see further IT Service Desk contact options at http://liverpool.ac.uk/csd

If you have ongoing problems accessing the Library please contact the Librarian using details shown on the Library for Online Programmes Support page, please provide the Librarian with any error messages shown on-screen, your full name and ID (H number).

For further help using Library resources, see our introductory guides, videos and tutorials on the 'Training' area of the Library for Online Programmes.

Note - your UoL (MWS) account may not be ready for activation immediately after enrolment. Please see the contact options above if you have activation or Library access problems.

We provide a dedicated E-Learning Librarian to assist you in using Library resources. If you have any problems using the Library or technical problems, please see the Support area of the Library for Online Programmes. Also see our guides, videos, tutorials and Library Training Module available via the Library for Online Programmes.
