Renewal reminders are courtesy emails and we encourage users not to rely on them as reminders to return/renew but to get into the habit of regularly checking My Library Account. As a result of this, if there is a technical issue preventing this email from being sent, we do not waive a fine. See renewing loans for further information.
If you have any problems renewing your books online, for example if you have a fine of more than £10 or if you have reached the renewal limit, get in touch using one of the Contact Us options.
If you renew or return your books using our self service machines in the Library, it is advisable to obtain a receipt. This receipt gives proof that an item is returned; without it we are unable to waive any fines.
