If your student card is not recognised on the printers, which may be the case if you a have a new card, you will need to register it on a MFD (printer/scanner).
To register your card on a MFD (printer/scanner) you will first need to log in manually. To do this tap on the screen of the printer. This will bring up 'User ID' and 'Password' buttons, press theses buttons and a keyboard will appear, enter your MWS username and password and then select 'Login' on screen. After you have logged in scan your card using the smartcard reader (to the right hand side of the MFD).
You can also log in manually if you need to print and do not have your student card.
To test if your card is registered, log out and scan your card again.
