Can I still study in the Sydney Jones Library whilst the building works take place? .

You will be able to access and study in certain areas of the Sydney Jones Library however, once the essential build works start, study space will be limited and you should expect significant noise levels.

I need a copy of a specific book that’s usually in one of the inaccessible areas – how do I get it?

During this period of significant building work, users will not be able to get direct, shelf access, to the majority of the Sydney Jones physical book collections. We will operate a Click and Collect service Monday to Friday to provide access to physical materials, and our services and extensive collections will remain available online via the library website and Library Search. The Harold Cohen Library will also stay open throughout summer, with some temporary space closures due to necessary accessibility works.

We recommend visiting the Sydney Jones Library before 5 June to browse and borrow from our collections, but do not worry as we will do our best to accommodate resource needs!
