When the Library Catalogue displays the status of an item as being 'in process' it means that the item has been received by the Library and is currently being processed ready for shelving. If it says it is 'on order' it has not yet been received by the Library. If you want to get hold of something which is currently 'in process' or 'on order' you can reserve the book for when it is available.
