When a library book is described as being in transit, it means that it has been returned to a different library to the one it belongs to, and is in the process of being returned to the correct library. Once it is back in the right place (it should ony take a day or two), the status will change to available, unless it has been requested.

If you notice a book that has been "in transit" for a while, please get in touch using one of the Contact Us options. Remember to include the book details!
