If you still have the book then you won't need to pay the replacement cost when you return it. Simply return it on one of our self service machines, which will remove the replacement cost from your record.
When you are billed for a book you will also find your access rights to the library are restricted. We recommend that you return the book to the library as soon as possible and wherever possible inform staff at the Help Desk so we can lift the restrictions from your record and restore your access and borrowing rights.
If you receive a bill for a book that you still have, please do not pay the bill online. Instead bring the book back and speak to library staff. If you have paid a bill in error for a book that is not lost, again contact library staff so we can arrange a refund.
