There are two ways to get hold of journal articles that are not available electronically or in the library.
- First is the free ArticleReach service. If you have found the article, through DISCOVER or another database search, click on the 'Is it at Liverpool?' link and 'Request document via our free Article Reach service'.
Alternatively, click on the 'Go to an Article' tab in the eJournals section on the Library homepage and fill in the details of the article.
- The second option is to apply for an Inter-Library Loan (ILL). There's a charge for this service but we are almost always successful in getting journal articles. You can apply online for an ILL (you will need to create an account if you don't already have one) or at the Help Desk in the Library.
(Online students are generally not able to use the ArticleReach or ILL services. See this FAQ)
