Pass the Book is a service that allows students at the University of Liverpool to buy, sell or donate their textbooks to other students.
Students register with the Pass the Book website and are approved by library admin staff.
The site can be searched by author, title, ISBN or by a module code if the book is on a reading list.
Students can list their books for sale on the website or donate them for free.
Books only appear on the website after they have been deposited with the library. The buyer can only collect their books from the library with a proof of purchase. This means both buyer and seller can have confidence in the system.
Students buying books send the payment direct to the student selling it using PayPal Me. There is no need to share contact details or payment details.
