The best place to start looking for journal articles is DISCOVER. It is easy to search and you will find lots of relevant material.
If you want to go further and do a more in-depth and focused search then you should use one of our subject specialist databases. You can find a complete list of Physics databases in the Physics Library Guide.
The most recommended database for Physics:
- Web of Science (formerly known as Web of Knowledge) provides broad coverage as well as very good author and citation searching. It includes Science Citation Index, Index to Conference Proceedings and Journal Citation Reports.
- Scopus covers a wide subject range and is good for interdisciplinary subjects, searching for authors and tracking down citations.
