The Book and Copy Delivery Service is a means by which the Library will post books held in stock and copies of journal articles or book chapters directly to your home or work address. This service is for staff and students of the University.

£3* per loan.

Photocopies will be charged at the rate of 4p per page up to a maximum of £3.00

*If you have a current disability support plan, book loans will be sent free of charge. Photocopies are charged at the same rate as above. You should select the relevant option on the request form and we will process accordingly.

When we receive your request we will process it and the charge will be added to your library account. Charges for this service are counted as outstanding fines on your record and must not exceed £10.00 in total to ensure that your use of library services is unaffected. You can Pay online through the University Store or in person at the Library Help Desks and the charge will then be removed from your record.

Request copies via Get If For Me

We aim to supply within 5 working days of receipt of your request, excluding weekends and University closed days.

Books

Check the Library Catalogue to see whether the item you want is available. Overnight/weekend, 3 and 7 day loans are exempt from the delivery service. Books sent on loan will be issued to your library record.

Journals

We can supply articles subject to copyright limits i.e. only one article from the same issue of a journal.

It is your responsibility to return books by the due date or normal overdue charges will apply. The loan period we give includes an allowance for postage time. All loans are subject to recall if required by another reader.
