Students studying online programmes are advised to use the search tools provided in the Library Web pages for online programmes including our multi-source Discover platform or other search options available on the site, these search options are configured to display full-text E-Resources as far as possible, avoiding resources which are not available in digital form.

You should check your required E-Resource is not available using Discover to search by title or other options such as 'go to an article' (shown on every page in the site) or other search options in the E-Resource page.

Please also see our guide on locating E-Resources which may appear to be unavailable.

Please note that the Library cannot scan or deliver copyrighted works, if you are sure your required resource is not available, you can also ask the the e-Learning Librarian to investigate your required resource - see our Contacts page, please include full details of the resource, including title, author and other citation details (e.g. journal, issue, volume, start page, year of publication).

We provide a dedicated E-Learning Librarian to assist you in using Library resources. If you have any problems using the Library or technical problems, please see the Contacts area of the Library for Online Programmes. Also see our guides, videos, tutorials and Library Training Module available via the Library Web site for Online Programmes.
