Note - all online students can use our document supply service, Get it for Me, this does not require registration for library (physical) borrowing, however print items cannot be posted/ mailed overseas.

Before attempting to use our document supply service, please discuss any unavailable resources with the Online Librarian beforehand (we can often advise on E-Resources which are readily available online).

Students studying online programmes are advised to use the search tools provided in the Library for Online Programmes including our multi-source Library Search platform or other search options available on the site, these search options are configured to display full-text E-Resources as far as possible.

You should check your required E-Resource is not available using Library Search to search or E-Resources page.  To go to a particular article you can also use the 'Go to an article', tool shown on the E-Resources, then  E-Journals page, you will need to input the journal name, volume, issue, year and start page.

Please also see our guides on Locating a required E-Resource and Finding Unavailable Resources, Campus Libraries and External Services.

If you are sure your required resource is not available, you can also ask the the Librarian for Online Programmes to investigate your required resource -  please include full details of the resource, including title, author and other citation details (e.g. journal, issue, volume, start page, year of publication).

We provide a dedicated E-Learning Librarian to assist you in using Library resources. If you have any problems using the Library or technical problems, please see the Support area of the Library for Online Programmes. Also see our guides, videos, tutorials and Library Training Module available via the Library for Online Programmes.
