Q. What is Liverpool Elements ?

Liverpool Elements is an online tool to help researchers manage information about their research and impact activity. It collects a range of data from multiple sources (including existing internal systems like Core HR and external resources such as Scopus) and brings it all together within one system for managing.

Elements data can then be fed out to other systems - for example, publications information on staff profile web pages is fed by the Outputs module of Elements, while any uploaded files for outputs will be made openly accessible through the University Repository or Research Data Catalogue as appropriate (and only after being checked by Library staff).

It is important to note that Elements itself is an entirely internal system  - no-one external to the University can access anything in Elements directly.
