SciVal is an online tool that offers quick, easy access to the research performance of 19,600 research institutions and 231 nations worldwide using bibliometrics. It enables you to visualize research performance, benchmark relative to peers, develop collaborative partnerships and analyse research trends.
SciVal is accessible through the Scopus database. To access SciVal, first access Scopus through the Library Database Page. At the top of the Scopus main page, click on the SciVal link, then click on 'Create Account' to sign up for a personal Elsevier account. Use your liv.ac.uk email address to do this.
You are then registered and can access SciVal.
Note: The process of accessing SciVal may be subject to change, in order to simplify accessibility, at some point in the near future. These login instructions will be updated accordingly.
