Information about data processing

As part of our seat booking system, we need to collect some personal data from you. We will use this data to help us manage capacity within our buildings, keep necessary records of who has used our buildings and to analyse usage patterns in order to help us to continue to improve our service to you.

We will keep your data for as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above. We would expect this to be no longer than two years.

What type of personal data will be collected and used

We will use your name and University of Liverpool email address to reserve and manage study desk reservations, manage your physical access to our buildings and desks, and to maintain booking information in order to analyse your specific and general usage of the desks and booking system. Your information will be available to staff at the University of Liverpool Library. Contracted third-party security staff on duty on the day of your booking may also be able to see your name, email address and booking information for that day in order to ensure safe access and use of the building.
