Several pieces of equipment in the Sensory Room have remote controls which can be found on top of the shelves on the wall directly opposite the door. All the remote controls look very similar, but they have labels on the back. You can use the remote controls to turn equipment on/off, adjust the light colour and brightness, and make the lights flash or fade in different patterns.

Please ensure that the plug socket for the piece of equipment you wish to use is switched on before using the remote control.

Overhead lights

The main lights are dimmable using a switch which is found to the right of the door. Hold the switch down at the bottom to dim the lights. Press the switch once quickly and firmly from the top to turn the lights on and from the bottom to turn the lights off.
