Cold food and hot and cold drinks with secure lids may be consumed within the Library. Hot food and alcoholic drinks are not allowed in any area of the Library at any time. Eating and drinking facilities are also available.
A water fountain which dispenses both hot and cold water can also be found on the ground floor of the Abercomby Wing (please remember hot drinks must be covered with a lid). There are further are water fountains on the ground, first and second floors of the Grove Wing. They dispense cold water only.
Drinking water is also available from the cold water taps in all of the toilets situated in the Abercromby Wing indicated by the 'drinking water' symbol above the tap.
There is also a cafe in the Sydney Jones Library selling a range of hot and cold food and drinks.

There is a water fountain in the Harold Cohen Library, where you can either drink directly from the tap or fill up a water bottle and there are also two additional water fountains on the 3rd and 4th floors. They dispense cold water only.
