Visit PC Finder for the availability of networked PCs throughout the campus. In addition to availability in the Library, PC Finder can also guide you to available PCs on-campus, together with location and directions. PC Finder can also show PCs with specific software installed, as well as a plan of the room showing PC availability.
High-spec PCs are located in the Library at:
- SJL Abercromby 1st Floor (43 PCs)
- SJL Abercromby 2nd Floor (39 PCs)
- HCL PC Room 5 (35 PCs)
- HCL PC Room 6 (28 PCs)
- HCL PC Room 7 (29 PCs)
- HCL PC Room 8 (34 PCs)
To check whether the software you need is available on a PC, you can:
- Use PC Finder to search for particular applications
- Press Ctrl-Alt-Del to display a list of the preinstalled applications; if the one you want isn't in the list, use PC Finder instead
- If you are using the Remote Teaching Centre Service, ask to be issued a PC that has a particular application (you can choose by the application)
