Yes. The Library accepts book donations that meet the criteria set out in the Library’s Collection Development and Management Policy. All potential donations will be reviewed against this policy to determine their suitability for inclusion in the Library’s collections. The Library reserves the right to decline donations that do not meet these criteria and cannot guarantee that all offered items will be accepted.

Please note that donations to Special Collections and Archives (SCA) are not affected by this guidance. If you wish to donate items to Special Collections, please refer to the SCA Donations advice at SCA Donations Policy.

We also have donation points at the entrances to both the Harold Cohen and Sydney Jones libraries for the Leave Liverpool Tidy project through the Liverpool Guild of Students.

• Liverpool Medical Student Society (LMSS) Buy and Sell Textbook Scheme (specifically for medical textbooks)
