If you've not used Reading Lists @ Liverpool before, you first need to create a staff profile.

How to create your Staff Profile

To access Reading Lists @ Liverpool, go to the Reading List @ Liverpool portal available on the Library homepage or via the Reading List LibGuide.

  • Select 'Log in' on the navigation bar.
  • On campus, you can log in automatically without a username or password. Off campus, use your Managed Windows Service username and password to complete your log in.

When you first log in, you will be asked to complete your Profile.

  • Enter your name and email address.
  • Describe yourself (as an academic, for example) and choose a main discipline.
  • Under Privacy, we encourage you to choose My profile is public. This allows lists to be assigned to you and means students can search and find your lists.
  • Save profile.

Once you have a Staff Profile, reading lists can be assigned to you and you can edit them.

To request a New Reading List or editing rights to an existing list, complete this simple form: New Reading Lists and Access form
