Bloomberg is a specialist database platform which provides access to financial data such as equities, commodities, foreign exchange and price indices.
Due to building works, Bloomberg terminals have been temporarily relocated to the Eleanor Rathbone Building, PCTC (2nd Floor) and are available for use throughout the duration of the works from 8:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday. The Bloomberg terminals are located at the rear of the PCTC room and are easy to identify, as each workstation is equipped with a distinctive Bloomberg keyboard. These will be relocated to the Management School once works are completed.
Bloomberg requires customers to set up their own username ("Bloomberg Registration" guidance). It is necessary to have a mobile phone with you when using Bloomberg for the first time as details have to be provided to them, in person, at the time of registering.
Once you are a registered customer you can sign up for the free, certified “Bloomberg Market Concepts” course ("Bloomberg Market Concepts" guidance)
