What are the different study zones within the library?

There are 3 study zones within the library with different permitted noise levels: Group Study, Quiet Study and Silent Study.

Group Study

Normal volume talking
Mobile phones permitted in areas designated as group study

Quiet Study

Keep conversation levels low and to an absolute minimum
Turn off mobile phone alerts
Do not use this area for group study or discussion
Do not conduct phone conversations
Use laptops with consideration (use headphones and sound must be inaudible to those nearby)

Silent Study

Work silently at all times including when using laptops and computers
Refrain from rustling food wrappers and eating noisy food
Turn off mobile phone alerts
Ensure any personal listening equipment is inaudible to those nearby
