Access to the Library

Once you have finished your studies and returned your library books the Library will extend your card expiry date up to the day you graduate.  You don't have to apply for another card, just use your current card or the My Liverpool App to continue to access the Library.

You will not be able to borrow any items, but you can access the Library reference and PC access.

Once your graduation is confirmed on University records, you can apply for an Alumni card if you so wish and continue to use Library services.

If you have any problems accessing the Library up to graduation please contact us.

Access to computers

Access to your computing MWS (Managed Windows Service) account remains active until your graduation. The IT Services Department will notify you two weeks before your account is closed. As long as your account is active, you will be able to access the University network, including the Library's online resources, printing, photocopying and scanning facilities.

Once your MWS account expires you will only have access to online resources as a visitor, unless you register for the University's Alumni membership, which allows you continued access to a number of online resources. If you require Internet access, you can also request a guest WiFi login at the Library for up to 7 days.
