GIFM (Get It For Me) is primarily for personal requests such as research which means that, if the title you are requesting is on a reading list, student numbers will not be taken into consideration and the item will not be linked to the reading list. Using GIFM means only one print or single license eBook will be purchased for you.
If there is an item you want to be added to library stock which would also be a useful addition on your reading list, you can still request it by bookmarking it without it actually being in library stock.
Once you have added it to your list, assign an importance to it and then send it for review. The Reading List Support Team will ensure that the correct number of copies will be purchased to support the students on the course.
