Reading Lists @ Liverpool can bookmark from a wide variety of sources, not just books and journal articles. These can include web pages, web documents, audio visual content, and other sources.
Before you can bookmark an item you will need to make sure you have installed the Talis bookmarking extension. (Talis is the software that Reading Lists @ Liverpool runs on.) Instructions for installing the bookmarking extension can be found here.
Once you have installed the extension to your browser you should see the turquoise icon in your toolbar.
Go to the content you wish to bookmark and click on the icon. This will then open the bookmark editor where you can make changes or additions to the information the extension has captured.
Scroll to the bottom of the edit window and click either “Create” or “Create and add to list”. A more in-depth explanation of this can be found here.
Once you have added your new bookmark to your list remember to publish the reading list and send it for review.
If you have any questions or problems, please contact the Reading List Support Team or your Liaison Librarian.
